Best armor is from Droknar's Forge, and it takes a while to get that far (and it also is pretty expensive for new players. Just buy the best armor you can from the major cities as you progress, and play the game normally.

If you want to skip large portions of the game just to get the armor (not recommended on the first time through), get ran from Ascalon to Yak's Bend, Beacon's Perch and finally Droknar's Forge. The cost of getting people to run you all the way might be up to 5k, and armor costing 1.5k per piece plus materials, so it's very expensive for starters.

if your new to the game dont worry bout armor , just work your way through it , you just left pre-searing so realy u just started the game since pre is the tutorial , armor isn't all that important for now but later it is , just work your way through ascalon with either your current armor or the ascalon armor sinse it wont be till kryta that u get better choice , if u dont have much money buy the armor in ascalon thats 50 gold + materials a peice , that should do till kryta then buy the armor in lions arch (in kryta) that should keep u going to henge and so on , there are some minor boosts of armor realy close together but dont bother , just buy the ones city to city and not the ones in outposts , once u get to droknars u'll be able to afford it but be warned since some sets will cost 20k all together and then if your rich there is always 15k armor which means 15k a peice +materials , which only look better , the stats are of the same as droknars armors, and then if your stinking rich u can buy fissure armor which is right now just under 1000k including materials. just work your way through, o yeah and "Questions" belong in questions and answers section just to let ya know cause im sure since your new u may have some later on and we'll be happy to answer.

Best armor is in forge, its 1.5k each. There is more expensive armor (quite a bit more expensive) in Grottos and Citadel, But it is the same armor as drokners (it just looks differnently) its about 15k each (plus materials)

although the "best" armor in the game is available at droknar's forge, you really shouldn't be worrying about that right now. since you just left pre-searing, the best available armor for you at the moment is at the crafters in ascalon. there are two different crafters, but you should get the one with higher AL. it will last you quite a while.

I would play the Missions till you get to Beacon (you level up + you save paying a runner + you get more cash on the way) Then you can grap a Runner to Droks (2-3k) and buy your armor there.

nooooo!!!

stop telling first timers to get runs and drok armor!!!

trust me on this one, you'll be a better player by not getting run and buying drok armor until you get there legitimately.
